
In his role as Co-Chief Investment Officer, Yale is responsible for overseeing the firm’s portfolio management, risk management, asset allocation, and investment decisions. He is responsible for the management of the Structured Credit business and its associated products, as well as the firm’s long-only performing credit products. He is a permanent voting member of the ACO Investment Committee. He is a Co-Chair of the U.S. Performing Credit Investment Committee, Chair of the European Performing Credit Investment Committee, and a member of the Allocation Committee, the Management Committee, and the Best Execution Committee. Yale joined Anchorage Capital Group, L.L.C. as Head of Structured Credit in November 2008 and is based in the New York office. Previously, Yale worked at JP Morgan and in his most recent role was responsible for the global CLO business. Prior to joining JP Morgan, he was an investment banker in Deutsche Bank’s CDO business. He also held various positions in investment banking including in the CDO business at Goldman Sachs. Yale has a total of 28 years of experience in the financial services industry and received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated summa cum laude, and he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
