In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Robert is responsible for overseeing Software Engineering, IT / Infrastructure, Middle Office & Operations, Treasury, Valuation & Portfolio Analytics, Legal & Compliance, and Human Resources. He is Chair of the Operating Committee, the Valuation Committee, the Management Committee, and the GIPS Committee, and is a member of the Operational Risk & Security Committee, the Best Execution Committee, the Allocation Committee, and the Proxy Voting Committee. Robert joined Anchorage Capital Group, L.L.C. as a Managing Director and Head of Middle Office & Operations, Treasury, and Valuation in April 2009 and is based in the New York office. Previously, Robert was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at H/2 Capital Partners. Prior to joining H/2, he was Managing Director, Head of Middle Office & Operations for Deutsche Bank’s Absolute Return Strategies Group. Robert has a total of 39 years of experience in the financial services industry and received a B.S. from Manhattan College.
