James is a Co-Portfolio Manager of ACO IX and is the third permanent voting member of the ACO Investment Committee alongside the two Co-CIOs. He leads the special situations investment efforts across the Anchorage platform and runs the global trading team for the firm. James, now based in New York, previously headed Anchorage’s London office and joined Anchorage Capital Europe, LLP as a credit trader in August 2012 to help build out the firms European trading platform. Previously, he worked at Barclays Capital as a Director in Credit Trading. Prior to Barclays, James was the Vice President of Credit Exotics and Hybrids Trading at JP Morgan. He also worked as a Senior Associate in the Wholesale Investment Banks Department at The Financial Services Authority. James has a total of 24 years of experience in the financial services industry and received a B.Sc. in Business Management from King’s College in London.
